If you cannot collect your number in person, please arrange for your number to be collected for you.
Your number MUST be collected at the venue you selected when you entered.

RACE NUMBERS AND LICENSES
Your race pack will include your race number. Please ensure that you wear this on the front of your vest/t-shirt on race day. The number includes a timing chip on piece of foam. Do not bend this, damage it, or remove it or you will not receive a time.

If you indicated that you require a temporary license, you will receive this at registration, please ensure that you wear this on the back of your vest/t-shirt on race day.

You will not be allowed to run on race day if you do not have a valid 2022 ASA license or a temporary license on your vest. If you have not purchased a temporary license or have not yet received your 2022 ASA license, please purchase a temp license at registration.

HOW DOES THE BATCH START SYSTEM WORK?
Your race number will include your batch from A to F. Please follow the directions of the start marshals to enter the correct start batch corresponding to your batch. If you start in the incorrect batch, your time will be incorrect.

The batches will start 3 minutes apart. Batch A starts at 06:10am. Runners in batches A and B must be in their batches by 06:05am.

Other batches will start according to the following schedule. Please ensure that you are in your batch 5 minutes before the start of your batch.

Batch   –  Start
A           6:10am
B           6:13am
C           6:16am
D           6:19am
E           6:22am
F           6:25am

WHERE DO I ENTER THE START BATCHES?
The entrance for the start batches is at the MTN entrance to the Constantia Village Shopping Centre. Please do not enter via Constantia Main Rd. This will disrupt the start itself.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?
Parking will be available at the start venue (the Constantia Village Shopping Centre) for about 450 cars and at the Constantia Sports Complex. Additional parking is available on Alphen Drive. Please follow the instructions of the parking marshals and follow the parking arrows.  We ask that runners make use of the Doordrift Rd entrance to the Constantia Village Shopping Centre and not the entrance on the Constantia Main Road.

Please do not park in the driveways of our neighbours. We also ask that you do not move the road signs that we have placed to denote no parking and no stopping zones. These are to ensure the safe running of the race.

TOG BAG FACILITY
A tog bag facility will be available at the start. Please ask for a tag at registration. You need to ensure that your race number is on the tag when you hand your bag in on race day. We will not provide tags or pens on race day.

ARE THERE LOOS AT THE START?
The toilets inside the Constantia Village Shopping Centre will be open on race day. You can access these loos at the MTN entrance to the Constantia Village. An additional 10 portable loos will also be available at the finish at the Alphen Common, a short walk from the start venue. Please make sure that you use the loos before you enter your start batch.

HOW WILL MY TIME BE CALCULATED?
The race is run on a gun-to-mat format. Your official time is calculated from the gun at the start of batch A. However, if you start in the correct batch, you will also receive a net time (i.e. a time adjusted for the starting time of your batch). Every effort has been made to ensure that potential prize winners start in batch A based on the seeding times that you provided during the entry process. To ensure fairness, the referees and organisers may include runners starting outside of batch A in determining age category winners.

WHAT IS THE RACE CUT-OFF?
The race cut-off time is 2 hours 30 minutes. The route includes 2 short uphills towards the end of the course so keep some energy in reserve.

IS THERE A ROUTE MAP?
Please visit this page for the map: https://kwayvob.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/CV15-Route.jpg

WILL I RECEIVE MY PRIZE ON THE DAY?
No prizes will be awarded on the day. All prize-winners (including the winners of spot prizes) will be notified by e-mail. Monetary prizes will be paid via EFT into South African bank accounts only.

WATER TABLES
There will be two water tables on race day – at 5km and 10km. We will be serving refreshments in paper cups as part of our initiative to be reduce our use of plastic. Water marshals will be on hand to assist runners who carry their own cups/bottles/hydration packs.
